    Marsaxlokk is Malta's most famous fishing village, and it earns the description without any caveats. The harbour is lined with brightly painted luzzu — the traditional Maltese fishing boats with painted eyes on the prow — and the Sunday market that runs along the waterfront is the best reason to be in southern Malta on a weekend morning.
